This practical one-day seminar will show entrepreneurs how to create a comprehensive Financial Budget and a compelling Executive Summary for their business, as well as provide a practical understanding of the elusive and sometimes intimidating capital markets.
A framework will be established within which the entrepreneur will be able to 1) determine whether a business or venture is ready for financing; 2) compile a comprehensive investor presentation package; 3) develop an appropriate strategy and approach for presentation of the opportunity to the right type of investors; and 4) follow the necessary steps to successfully close the financing transaction.
Real world (first hand) business case studies will be employed to help entrepreneurs avoid the most commonly made mistakes in this capital raising process. The course is intended to be interactive and participative, with in-class discussions being geared to the real life situations encountered by the participants wherever possible.
You are welcome to bring your own lunch and refreshments or take advantage of one of the many restaurants in the area. This is a good opportunity to become better acquainted with the other participants in a casual setting and review the morning session.
