Course Details

A professional is evaluated and promoted largely based on his or her ability to communicate effectively. This course will help students master the most common forms of written business communication: memos, letters, reports, short notes and e-mails. You will learn how to use appropriate North American business formats, styles, conventions, and tone. You will also receive guidance that will help make your writing correct, clear, concise and persuasive. Students should expect up to three hours of homework each week.

  • Learn to write persuasive messages that will motivate your reader

    • Prerequisites

    For non-native speakers of English. An advanced level of proficiency in spoken English.
