A Clerical Check application is the first step in the SCS grade appeal process.

Learners may request a clerical check if you believe there has been an arithmetical error in the calculation of your final course grade, or if you wish to review your marked final exam.

Please note that final grade results, particularly failing results, are carefully reviewed prior to issuance. Consequently, it is to be expected that only rarely there will be acceptable justification for further reconsideration.

A clerical check does not include a re-read of the final examination, project or assignment. When you apply for this service you will receive a confirmation of the clerical check results, and an opportunity to review your final exam directly.

You must wait for the results of the clerical check before you can proceed in the grade appeal process and submit a re-read application.

Please note that this application intended for SCS courses only. Individuals should not create a profile nor submit this application if they have not recently completed an SCS course. No refunds will be issued for incomplete or incorrectly submitted applications. Please ensure you read the instructions carefully before completing this application.
