Course Description

Project management is critical for organizations looking to stay competitive, profitable and forward-facing. In this accelerated micro course you’ll learn how to successfully plan projects to deliver value to your organization and its stakeholder, regardless of your industry. You’ll come away knowing the fundamental practices needed to get results and achieve excellence in project planning.

Within 4-6 weeks of successfully completing this course, you will receive your micro-credential indicating achievement of the outlined learning outcomes and competencies/skills. Micro-credentials are tamper proof, verifiable, blockchain-based and 100% digital. They can be shared on social media, including LinkedIn and Facebook, embedded in websites or downloaded as PDFs.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this micro course, you'll be able to:

  • Evaluate the advantages of different approaches (agile, traditional, hybrid) to implement projects.
  • Design initiation documents that include all necessary elements.
  • Create project scope and schedule baselines, and product backlog with a release plan.
