Course Description

This course focuses on making you a more effective project manager through communications. Communication is the number one reason why projects fail. In this course will focus on key project communication artifacts, presentation skills and how to engagement stakeholders. To communicate effectively to stakeholders, you need to understand how the project supports the organization’s strategy, the benefits the project is delivering to the organization and what is project success. This course will provide an overview of strategy, how to realize benefits, and how to effectively close a project.

Note: 1952A Project Leadership and 1952B Project Communication and Strategy together are equivalent to 1952 Leading Projects in Organizations

Within 4-6 weeks of successfully completing this course, you will receive your micro-credential indicating achievement of the outlined learning outcomes and competencies/skills. Micro-credentials are tamper proof, verifiable, blockchain-based and 100% digital. They can be shared on social media, including LinkedIn and Facebook, embedded in websites or downloaded as PDFs.
