Course Description

Keep up your knowledge and build your skills in this course that promotes better-spoken Farsi. Choose your own theme and give a brief presentation to classmates, followed by discussion and review of grammar, syntax and pronunciation. Learn new words and expressions through poetry, music, storytelling, media, the Internet and other sources. Speaking only in Farsi, we emphasize oral participation. Themes and activities vary from session to session, allowing students to take the course as often as they wish.

Learning Outcomes

  • Use a more sophisticated command of vocabulary, grammar and syntax to express complex, original thoughts.
  • Speak Farsi in a more nuanced, subtle manner.
