2833 - The Path of the Tiger Retreat: Structure Your Life and Your Story
Course Description
Structure is not repressive. It is true freedom. Yet we hurry through our lives distracted and exhausted, forgetting to carve out a section of the day for the story or the book that we dream of writing. Our writing projects remain unfinished. And beneath this busyness is an ache that our life is passing by. In this class, explore your inner, outer and secret obstacles to living a meaningful life. Learn to structure your life in accordance with your personal vision and core values.
Explore various ways of structuring your story. Cultivate the determination and resilience to finish your story. Study the examples of wisdom teachers, philosophers and creative writers and practice writing, mindfulness and stoic exercises to live well and write your truth. Learn to water the "good seeds" of patience, one-pointed attention, generosity and exertion, so that your discipline becomes the scaffold of a creative and happy life. Engage in a writing workshop and learn possible ways of structuring your story/final project or your book. Writers, artists and meditators at any level of experience are welcome.
