Course Description

Building on "Freelance Science, Medicine & Public Health Writing", this course immerses learners in an extensive exploration of long-form feature writing for magazines. The course materials comprise a rich mixture of story development, story-gathering and story-telling techniques. The aim is to deeply enrich your writing skills, and propel you into the world of marquee science journalism.

Learning Outcomes

  • Learners will gain a comprehensive overview of contemporary feature magazine journalism on scientific and medical themes.
  • Learners will gain detailed understanding of how to conceptualise, research, and write feature length magazines article on scientific and medical themes.
