Course Description

For those who wish to write for the theatre, this workshop in dramatic writing serves as a followup to 2825 Playwriting: Introduction and will introduce you to the fundamentals of playwriting. The focus is on character, structure, and dialogue, and offers intelligent feedback, useful exercises, and the opportunity to create new plays and/or continue to develop existing works.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the key elements of dramatic writing.
  • The completion of at least a major portion of a play.
