Course Description

Improve your chances of success in passing the National Professional Practice Examination (NPPE) required for the P.Eng. licence in Canada . You will cover the subject in a structured learning environment under the guidance of expert instructors through weekly interactive online webinars and discussion boards. You will learn about the ethical aspects, social responsibility and the sustainability issues faced by professional engineers in engineering practice. Laws of contracts and torts will also be covered. Review of past NPPEs and working on sample answers will help you prepare with confidence for the NPPE.

Financial assistance may be available to eligible Ontario residents through the Ontario Bridging Participant Assistance Program (OBPAP) provided by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU). Please email scs.learnerservices@utoronto.ca for details.

Recommendations

You should have an engineering degree or be pursuing one. Be prepared to spend at least three hours a week on assignments and class preparation.
